Anyone who lives in Sible Hedingham or the nearby villages can join; quite a few of our  members are from Castle Hedingham.

You will receive a newsletter with information about our forthcoming events as well as the visits.

Organisations in the village, such as clubs and societies can also join and the Association will attempt to establish links with similar organisations in Choisy-au-Bac.

The exchange visit takes place over a weekend and the arrival is usually on the Saturday  and departure on the Monday morning; A two night break with an arranged communal meal on the Saturday.  So it’s not a huge commitment.

New members are always welcome, whatever their interests.  Twinning involves everyone, all age groups, non-French speakers and fluent linguists.  In fact everyone can be involved and benefit.

 

Can’t speak French?

 

Don’t worry, many of our members do not speak French and communicating with paper and pencil or sign language can be great fun.  Many people brush up their school French after a visit to Choisy or actually sign up for a French course!
